Daimler Buses GmbH, formerly EvoBus GmbH, is a German bus and coach manufacturer headquartered in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany. Established on 23 February 1995 through the merger of the Daimler-Benz bus division and the Setra bus division of Karl Kassbohrer Fahrzeugwerke, and renamed Daimler Buses GmbH in 2023, it operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck. Its products are marketed under the Mercedes-Benz and Setra brands, along with the OMNIplus and BusStore service brands, covering coaches, inter-city buses, city buses, and bus chassis. It is Europe's largest bus manufacturer and one of the world's leading full-line bus providers, with production sites including Mannheim and Neu-Ulm in Germany as well as plants in the Czech Republic, France, Spain, and Turkey. Employing more than 15,000 people and selling roughly 26,600 units worldwide annually, the company is a leader in the transition to battery-electric and hydrogen-based passenger transport.
