It was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and was a constituent of the Nikkei 225 stock index. In January 2017, Mitsumi merged with Minebea to form MinebeaMitsumi Inc., with Mitsumi continuing to operate as part of the combined group with global production and sales operations across Asia, Europe, and North America.
