Tabriz Petrochemical Company (TPCO), also known as Petroshimi Tabriz, is a leading Iranian petrochemical producer headquartered in Tabriz in the northwest of Iran. Founded in 1990 as a subsidiary of Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC), it is the largest petrochemical company in the country's northwest region. The company has a nominal production capacity of 870,000 tons of polymers per year, including polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, and ABS, along with various hydrocarbon byproducts, and produces about 450,000 tons of sellable products annually. Its products are manufactured under license from major international companies and exported to European countries, the Balkan region, Southeast Asia (especially China), and African countries.
